There is a reason you are choosing to learn more about
Synergy HomeCare – it’s about difference.
About the difference between home care and other kinds of franchising
opportunities, the difference between Synergy HomeCare and other home care
organizations, and it’s about the difference that you want to make for
yourself, for your family, and for others.
What will your
services mean to your clients? Excellent home care is not just another product
in a vast field of consumer goods, home care is a service for people who need
and seek your help. You and your careTEAM will provide independence and comfort
to those in need. You’ll provide families with peace of mind. You’ll improve
lives. And you’ll reinvent what it means to offer “personal service.” Let’s
look at just two of the types of service you’ll be offering that make a very
real difference:
Companionship
Companionship may seem like a pretty simple service, but to
your clients, it can make a world of difference. With Synergy HomeCare, you
will offer emotional care to your clients who don’t have family or friends who
can be with them all of the time. Home care
companionship goes beyond simply spending time with people. More and more published clinical data show
that low levels of
emotional support and companionship are firmly linked to a variety of health
problems, including deteriorating mental functioning and an increased risk of heart
disease.
Personal Care
As the age of a loved one increases, the difficulty of
carrying out personal and household tasks also tends to increase. Your Synergy
HomeCare caregivers will offer confidential physical care for those who are unable to
take care of themselves any longer. These services allow elders and those who
are immobilized to stay safely in the familiar surroundings of their own homes
where they feel most comfortable.
Helping
the elderly stay longer in their familiar home environment is preferred. Moving out of your home at any age and under
the best circumstances, such as a new job or to be near family, is stressful. It can lead to Relocation Stress Syndrome
(RSS) [Mallick & Whipple, 2000]. It does not discriminate among those who
have chosen to move, been involuntarily relocated, or been placed in a care
facility. Symptoms can include exhaustion, sleep disturbance, anxiety,
financial strain, grief and loss, depression, and disorientation. In older
people, these symptoms can be worsened by dementia, mild cognitive impairment
and poor physical health.
You
will make a difference for yourself and for your family, through creating
independence for your clients.
